Or quite possibly not genuine.

My attitude to un-solicited e-mails is to dump and delete ..

Why would a trader from Pakistan describe themselves as UK Tools ??

Aroma of Rattus Sp. ??

No Regd. Co. # , no nothing ...

Strange way to be approached, and why you Bernd ?

He can call his company whatever he likes,  there are plenty of eating places around here selling 'chinese' food but not an oriental face in sight.  There are also a couple of hamburger joints adorned with Old Glory and no yanks there either.  BTW why does Betty Windsor have lions over the gates at Buck House?  Are there any lions naturally in England?

He wants to buy unwanted and surplus tools for resale in Pakistan.

It may be an outfit in Pakistan that imports secondhand/surplus machinery etc to sell over there, and calls itself "UK Tools" for that reason.

Maybe they would make me an offer on my ever-increasing stock of blunt and broken milling cutters  :)

If they want surplus/used UK tooling, it seems a curious way to go about it. ie By approaching a US citizen ?

John ..

Nope, no indigenous lions in UK now. There were lots in Pleistocene times IIRC.
Maybe that's why the lions are there.  :D

No evidence of Unicorns though .. so why do some examples of UK heraldry have them ??

It came through my web site. Apperently they are trolling web sites that are machine orianted.

After all the name of my web site is "Kingstone Model Engineering".  :coffee:

Been selling anything on Craigs list lately or anywhere else you had an email addy. Could be a scam.

I know for a fact they have people mining the members list form China, we had one who spent all their time. Cutting and pasting spam up to 5 emails/pm's at a time till We figured out what was going on. And banned them.

They had the same problem on the Live Steam forum awhile back, only they were sending pop up dirty pictures etc. auto opened when you ran a cursor over it.

Or as said he could be trying to build a biz by selling UK tools because of the liking of things British. As every one I have every got on the phone for a US company call center has had a British accent.

What's that song  "A small world after all..........."

Between my long lost Russian relatives needing help to come to USA
And all these royalty that need my help. I don't have time to sell the guy all the excess tooling that is hitting the scrappy around here.

Having spent a little time in P'stan lately I would help him if I could, but I cannot even find such goodies for myself!
