Why I Love Snow So Much
« on: December 23, 2010, 06:47:28 PM »
First off

I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and hoping that you survive that, a Happy new Year.  :D :D :ddb: :ddb:

Second

Did I ever tell you that I hate snow.  :poke: :poke: Well, I'm telling you now. This is why. This morning I went out and cleared the car off from the snow that we had so I could go and finish my Christmas shopping.

Now, do you blame me for hating snow.

Cheers

Don

Good, better, best.
Never let it rest,
'til your good is better,
and your better best

I must go outside and mow my lawns before the crowds arrive..Ill probably wear a pair of shorts, t shirt and boots... then Ill need a shower and a beer afterwards.... love the smell of freshly mown lawn...

....oops.... sorry guys..... no, really I am (not) ..... BUT I dont remember you guys commiserating with my lot when it got down to 7 deg C over winter.... damn that was chilly, had to put a long sleeve shirt on.....

Merry Chrissy to you all, we are having a long boozy day out on the lawns.....

I'm with you Rob but I did the lawn yesterday so I could finish off the food shopping today.
Off to the fish markets at 5:00AM to queue up with the rest of Sydney to buy fresh seafood for tomorrow.

Going to be a pleasant day with temperatures of 27oC predicted.

27oC !!   It has barely got above 0 during the day for the last couple of weeks here. Infact, I was driving through the outskirts of Manchester on Monday and my car was reading -10.5 oC at 9:30am .. I couldn`t believe it!

Predicted Temperature here in Mildura is 36 degrees C. The rivers working up to a minor flood. Two BBQs to attend tomorrow and I know santa is bringing me an air compressor (I had to buy it for him).

Merry Christmas from the Southern Hemisphere.

In the 40s is a bit warm. We have a couple of days or weeks of that each year here. Its ok if its dry heat but if the humidity is up its pretty uncomfortable.

He is use to it now,it seems to be about 10 deg above perth where he lives most of the time. he has to wear a full protection overall all day, hood and all then use a big burner to melt some strange sealant. he has a camel pack on his back full of drinks to keep him hydrated, he has to emptey the suit every so often.

Snow  snow everywhere. And not a drop to drink.

(Or,  don't eat the yellow snow)

Views out the back and front of the house. And,  of course,  the shed.

Can't go into work today. We got slammed pretty bad. Transportation into NYC is pretty spotty today. Not looking forward to the next 4 hours or so of shoveling. We have power... going to work from home.
