Dremel stand for my router table
« on: February 01, 2011, 09:38:00 AM »
I got a bit off track on my Gingery mill but will get back to it shortly. In the meantime I needed to mount my dremel to my router table to clean up the edges of some CNC plasma cuts I've been doing. I used a router on the CNC table to cut the parts out of aluminum. Here is the work and finished project and yeah I know the dremel is old ;-) All slots and part profiles were cut on the CNC table. The base material has holes from a previous life but it doesn't affect the function.

Cool. So it screws into the mount. Have you tested it out yet?

I figured I might need a bracket but it won't be getting much side to side pressure and seems very strong as it is. That being said, I haven't actually tested it yet so if it needs a bracket after testing it will be easy to add. The dremel does screw into the hole 3/4 16 threads.
