Hello from Osaka
« on: March 03, 2011, 05:18:46 PM »
Hi,

I'm a mechanical engineer living and working in Osaka, Japan.  I'd like to call myself a robot builder - but have only just begun my first major robot build in earnest recently (spent quite a bit of time setting up my "shop" and tools I thought I would need for my projects).  I know I still have a lot to learn so any advice from this community would be very much appreciated!

My main work machines are a taig CNC mill and a taig lathe.

I hope to be able to post a project log soon!

In the meantime, here's a picture of a tap stand I built - one of the many tools I thought I would be needing.
