new gear for lister
« on: March 04, 2011, 06:38:32 AM »
Did this little job mid last year picked up a Lister CS 3/1 "running but making knocking noises" (it was free and i got an IH LB with it). I got it home and got it cleaned up and running and found the intermediate timing gear had worn out, so Dad and I invested in a R/T. I then got a good mate of mine who just so happened to be a machinist and we spent one Saturday cutting a new gear on the shaper

Nice fix. Shapers are a treat to have!
