Hey everybody, thought I would show a trophy I made for my church's bass competition we had a few weeks ago.

That looks splendid!

I hope you caught the biggest fish, and got to keep the trophy for yourself.

Andy

PS It is a fishing trophy, isn't it, rather than a prize for the most obese bass in the church choir?
Sale, Cheshire
I've cut the end off it twice, but it's still too short

I thought it was a new type of beer  :beer:

Sadly, not... but the finished article is something to behold, nice work sir!
Cheers!
Ade.

Thanks for the comments,

@andyf Yes this was for a fishing tournament, but your statement made me laugh when I read it. And no I didn't win, my bass was about 12" long and 1.5-2 pounds. The winner could have eaten mine...

@AdeV Thanks!

@Bernd I'm in a little bit of everything it seems, but yes I did build a foundry and have cast a few things with it. I'm waiting for it to warm up a little more and get back into it this year.

That is neat! Very nice work. The winner came away with much more than a big fish!

Thanks, no the Haas isn't mine, it's one of the mills at work. I do have a Cincinnati Sabre 750 (about the same size as a Haas VF2) in my garage though.

Awesome on the Cincinnati Sabre 750! Wish I had something along those lines...

Lol, it's for sale if you want it. I need to downsize, or so says the wife...
