Programme on the telly
« on: May 05, 2011, 04:31:29 PM »
Hi all,

Got a link from the Model Engineer forum about recreating the dambuster;

Well worth a look!

I watched it on the box twice Andy, a very interesting exercise.

Unfortunately spoiled by some of the comments by the Canadian chaps towards the end.

That's not fair, enticing me like that then finding out I can't watch it because I am not in the UK. I think that you may have to record them all and sent it via carrier pigeon to get it out of the UK.  :lol: :lol:

Cheers  :beer:

That program was on one of the cable channels in the states a couple years ago like the discovery or something like that. It might be in their on line data base of content, if not with the frequency that they replay their encore showings it should come up in the rotation often. :thumbup:

Use of vpn services is not illegal at least in the States.  In fact, when I use my laptop at Starbucks coffee shops (or sometimes at an airport), I logon to a vpn.

I use them to watch British TV (Britain's Got Talent - should know better, but am addicted) and Norwegian TV from here in the States.

Britain's Got Talent

Although that statement is true in the literal sense, I've yet to see any evidence of it on any of that sort of programme...  :bang:
Cheers!

Miss Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan on Britain's though.  Haven't watched American TV since the mid 60's.

As an engineer, I find the Dam Busters episode fascinating.
