Well that just made my day due to its "coolness" factor.

I love the way the balls wind their way through the machine as though they're connected in a chain. It makes me wonder what other applications there would be for these little magnetic balls.

Interesting what the human mind can dream up. I made a contraption a few years ago while learning to weld (as evidenced by the crappy welds in the video

). The marbles are bigger and they aren't magnetic though.

Both are marvellous. The magnetic marble machine must have a few $ worth of magnets in it - last time I checked they were not inexpensive.
