Little Oscillating Engine "Lives"
« on: August 10, 2011, 07:55:24 AM »
Hi Folks,

Yes, I know its not the first one to be featured here, but I'm still quite proud of her... Getting one to run will just spur me on to bigger and better projects.

Any sugestions for the next one will be most welcome.

Nice little runner.

Looks like one of Elmers engine. How about a twin cylinder for the next one?

Sure looks like fine little runner to me, especially for a first engine. As Bernd said, a twin might be a good choice for your next engine. I am sure there will be a few others along with other suggestions. Thanks for showing it to us.  :D :D

Nothing beats the satisfaction of your first runner bursting into life. A great little runner.

Yes a twin oscillator could well be your next step. Take a look at Elmers #2 plans available at http://www.john-tom.com/ElmersEngines/02_twinVwobbler.pdf.

I'm a little late to this build, but nice job !!

I built the little wobbler from Sherline's Table Top Machining book, the "Millie" Took a little tweaking but runs like a champ now !!
