Don't get frustrated or give up with your quest for piccies in your posts, it will soon become a natural thing for you to do. You've got the basics, now it is just fine tuning. :med:

As Ralph said, I love those Boxford lathes. :bugeye: They are almost bombproof, and were used to train many thousands of wannabe engineers in schools, colleges and universities. If I didn't require a lot more swing than they have, I would definitely be using one in my shop. :bow: :bow:

It looks to be in real nice condition as well. :headbang:

Nice items you have there, many here will help you use them.
Anytime the bike needs some exercise just let me know  :jaw:


Ralph previously suggested Photobucket for saving and showing pictures. It's really quite simple and very useful in several ways.
I would think it would be easier than what you are doing now?

         As you may have guest I am hopeless with the computer,and my righting skills are just as bad. What I men't was that my son had gone home. I try'ed using the shortened link but time I try'ed the full link appeared. Darren suggested I try Photobucket. So I will.

              I am afraid that Suzuki's don't like the cold, wet, winter weather as soon as it get's warmer and the bike let's me out on it I will pop over then maybe you could show me how to use a computer  :bang:

No probs Tony, having a bike I'm sure a ride over this way would be on the cards sometime... :D


First thing to do is open a Photobucket acc and we can take it from there. I've only recently done it myself. I used to load pictures onto a website and link from there.

But Photobucket is far easier..... :D

We on here are only interested in what you are up to, not at how good your typing and spelling is, not everyone has the communication skills others possess, we will be able to understand and pick up on what you are on about, no matter how badly written, and as they say about pictures and a thousand words, it will save you a lot of typing. Get the piccies bit under your belt, and you are 99% there.

Just be your normal self, especially if you can throw in a bit of ribbing and humour as well, let us do the worrying about understanding things. I am sure if we get stumped, someone will ask you to explain it again. :poke:

Just treat the forum as though you are down at the pub, discussing and showing things to your mates over a pint.

Spot on Tony.

The software I use for resizing allows me to do it in inches. I use x=8", y=6" for landscape pics, and the other way around for portrait. I know a lot of the lads use a pixel based system to achieve the same results. I find that using my figures gives a good size to look at, and you don't have to scroll the page sideways to see it all, even with your favourites open.

As far as I know, you can resize your pictures in Photobucket if you want to. The lads will let you know how to do it in pixel sizes and resizing using PB, I just stick with what I know.

That's great Tony, halfway there, or more like 90%

Let Photobucket do the resizing automagically for you. Less effort that way.

Under the box where you choose files is another box that says "reduce to" I choose 1024x768 17" screen seem to work for me...

Not hear any complaints anyway.... :D

        Bernd am I right in thinking that if you delete a pic from Photobucket it will not display in Madmodder.
        Thanks the pic's were taken in Mexico about 4 years ago when you were allowed to climb Chichen itza
         WHAT BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY AND WHAT A SUPERB HOLIDAY.
         Now back to business were is the right place to carry out a general chat. :scratch:

Hi Tony,

Yep you are right, you only put the web address on here for pic's in photobucket, not the picture itself.

So delete it there and it disappears from here at the same time...same applies if you make new folders in PB and move your pic's to organise I believe.

Best set up any folders and sub-folders before linking any pic's.
