Now thats a bold claim that it will have a 10,000 year lifetime.  If it moves, it wears  the bearings appear massive but over time would expect them to crack and chip just from fatigue.  Still, I won't bet as I won't be around to collect.

Yes, I suppose there are any number of reasons why it might not last, but I have to salute them for trying - I just love the idea, the foresight and the hope.  :headbang:
