G'day
« on: October 05, 2011, 10:18:12 PM »
hi all

i've spent a lot of time browsing, thought it was about time i introduced myself.

I'm a wannabe model engineer, from Melbourne, Aus.

I have a shed, a 1915 drummond lathe, and am about to shell out for a 626 type mill (new).

My aim is to just 'make stuff', to fulfill some sort of desire to be creative.

thanks to all who have contributed to the forum - clearly a friendly and inspirational lot you are.

With all that lot, sounds like your already a Model Engineer and no just a Wannabe!

look forward to photos of what you`ve been building.

Welcome Russell,

Especially to another Drummond user! I have got a few  So don't hesitate to ask if you need any info.

There is also a good forum for Drummond users with tons of information and tips:
