Hope our chief and the rest of the collective, along the east coast above Washington. Weathered the storm with electric etc all still intact, or have a generator to stay warm!

We lost power for about 6 hours. Started to get cold in the house, thankfully I have a kerosene heater. We got the power back about 1130 or so.

Trees and power lines were coming down all over the place. A huge branch almost hit our car while we were taking my son to a Halloween party. fell right in front of us.  Ended up hitting it and tearing up the front bumper of the car...

Glad you all are ok, as they said some body was killed when the branch hit their car.  :bugeye: It is too early for this crap!!!!!! Glad they got my roof on with only loosing 1/2 day to rain here this week. Complete tear off ( 2 layers cedar shake, and two asphalt 3 tab shingles) all in one day and half. But that is a story for another thread
