cool to be a newbie!
« on: November 02, 2011, 07:33:56 AM »
Hi everyone,
I'm happy to join this forum. I'm retired since one year now, my background was in Biochemistry, I did academic research and some teaching in government Institutes for all my working life.
Being totally self-taught in engineering, I have a lot to learn reading all those fascinating topics.
some of my models are now in my Google albums as you may see.
I'm living in France, but I love working with Imperial dimensions, specially with fractions of inches, excellent for my gray cells, not being a young man, but a newbie yes.
Cheers

Francois,

I'm very impressed with your machining. You have taught yourself well. I think part is because you have a natural ability for mechanical things.

And welcome to Madmodder.
