Have never seen the Terminator version, but Britain/NATO have actually had Skynet for some time - first bird launched in the 1970s, service really operational in the 1990s.

Now I know why I don't want any CNC machines. They could all link up with my computer and build a robot that would choke me in my sleep.  :bugeye:

Oh, I'm mistaken, that's my wife choking me for not working on the honey do list.

I'm not too worried.... take away the ceiling and the eye-bots & hand-bots are stymied. And, like the Daleks before them, stairs would appear to be a show-stopper....

 :D

I definitely want a quadro-copter though....
Cheers!

Of course, they start out as toys, then they are programmed to press THE button, then some idiot installs Windows 98...

To my mind it would be quicker to get it myself

On the project website, they say these are things they INTEND to build so what we are seeing might just be virtual reality (it is hard to tell). In which case, we coffin-dodgers might be out of here before they install Windows Vista :loco:

More likely than any virtual setup is that they're likely being either remote controlled, or are running through a set task instead of searching and figuring out how to do it on their own as is the intention of the project.

Technically Skynet already happened and then all and every event since then has directly contributed to Skynet happening in order for it to go back and cause itself to happen.... !  :loco:

Ade... Quad copter... So very last whatever.... You want an Octocopter!

Cheap I bet!!

Back to the bots in question.... Freaky little concept!
