Two of my Pics got stolen!
« on: December 03, 2011, 11:05:23 AM »
I don't remember how I wound up at this web site. I think it was a link from another metal working sight.

Anyway, I scroll down a bit and here are two of my pics that were posted on HMEM a while back. So I went and wrote in red letters over the pic "Pic stolen from KME. That's my websites initials, Kingstone Model Engineering. Here's the link.

The whole web site doesn't make any sense at all.

I just thought I'd post this as warning to others. The thing that bothers me is the fact that you may have something in that picture which you didn't want to spread all over the net. So trim your pics carefully and water mark them.

Yes you are so correct That is why I do crop em so only the item in discussion is in it or at least try to. I guess these geniuses figure that if it it on the net it's free. Or at least that seems to be the attitude of a lot of people.  It is amazing how luck and stumbling around on the net will turn up things people would have never thought they would get caught!
As well as we have found out, about what people will do on the net.

Oh hell, it happened to you as well.

at least they weren't rehosted and you can still mark them.
I know exactly how angry you must feel.

I used to be confused, now I just don't know.

Having looked at the 1st page, I'd suggest the blog has been hacked & that page is some numb-nuts idea of amusing.
Cheers!

@ Roy -  Not realy angry, a bit more concerned as I stated. Becareful of what's in your background of the picture. You never know somebody might make a night visit and remove that item.

@ AdeV - That's what I kind of figured. The whole site makes no sense. The links don't seem to go no were, except round in circles.

Can't wait till the next one appers. will have to add some nasty words perhaps.  :D

I see writing across the pictures had no effect. I was going to send them a couple of porno pics but thought better of it. Instead I've deleted the original name of the picture and replaced it with another name. Now all they get is a red "X" were my pictures were.
