Interesting UK based tools site...
« on: January 06, 2012, 01:40:10 PM »
I just landed on here.... No idea what it's like to buy from etc.

Just thought it had a huge amount of stuff for sale.... Some second hand some new from the looks of it?

Over 1000 bits to look through in the metal working category alone!  :bugeye:

If you know what you're after it might be worth a search?

Anyone ever seen it? Know anything about this site?

Looks like it's just a go-between site taking comission from vendors. I've fudged the name to stop search engines indexing it.

No, it does not. eCxxxxx is a "ecommerce platform". We do not sell products. The merchants are selling their own products.

All the items I looked at were from US sellers so I would expect the shipping would be quite steep.

Take a look at this "Vintage wire brush with Brown Bristles"  If they just said RUST it would save a lot of verbiage.

Fair enough there's some carp on there.... But there is too on e-blag!

And someone always profits.... I'm assuming that like e-blag the vendor pays commission on sales to the website?

Anyway, looked interesting  :)
