H-Frame Hydraulic Press
« on: January 19, 2009, 11:35:51 AM »
Here is a link to a really sweet H style press and a great article. Also check out his home page he has another one on forming sheet metal and the measurement table was interesting. maybe a small version for the model builds?

That is definitely a nice press. I am wanting to build one. This one is a little large for me, but I think I can use some of the ideas and scale it down.

Thanks for the link

Eric

WOW  :jaw: That's one heck of a nice press. I couldn't believe how shiny that thing is.

A model version of something like that sure would be nice.

Interesting thing is he didn't use a standard channel for the side beams but made his own from individual pieces.

These presses are very usefull I couldn't  being to tell you what I've used them for,  :borg: just use your imagination  and you'd be suprized what you can do.

Ralphs brass balls for a start could be made on them. (for Ralph's sake I hope it doesn't get any colder)
