Foundry Work

Another oldie but a goodie. If you can find a copy you won't be disappointed. It is divided into 3 sections, as it was designed for a school and apprenticeship setting.
The First section

    * General knowledge of foundry work. The sizes and types of blast furnaces. and the making of pig iron.

      Second
    * Instructions for the practice in molding, core making and other parts of foundry work.

      Third
    * Mixing and melting of metals

It is set up for the commercial end of foundry work but with all the items that don't change with the scale of the foundry. Sand and the basic tools. It is a pretty good read.

Raise the Dead!
        Walk on water!
                 Fix a broken heart!
and I'm working on the first two!
