Compressed air three cylinder radial engine
« on: June 27, 2012, 12:38:11 AM »
This being a models forum I thought I should post a video of a model engine of my own design. click here to see it.
I was looking for other model radials on the internet and this is how I found this forum.  Is cfellows still around? I enjoyed his posts on his radial engine   Ironman

Yep, I'm still around.  I'm in the early stages of designing a compessed air powered V8 engine.  It'll be fairly small, with a bore of 3/8".  The reason for this is so that it won't use so much air.  I hate having the compressor kick on after 10 seconds of running.

Your radial looks nice.  Couldn't tell from the video, were your castings aluminum?

I envy you!  It would be nice to make my own iron castings.
