Good morning and hello from Newcastle
« on: July 08, 2012, 05:57:37 AM »
Hi my name is Mick I live in Newcastle upon Tyne and have been enjoying and learning from the site for a while now as well as enjoying the banter  I like all things metal and am still very much learning my way with machining, just self taught from needing to make things fit when messing about with cars. I am cleaning up my Harrison L5 lathe and will attempt to post pictures as I go. I am new to this posting business and not too hot on the old computer so bare with me !
 Cheers Mick.

Thanks for the welcome everyone   I have been watching other peoples projects for quite a while so hope to put something back in so to speak, my projects at first will be renovating machines to get them into working condition as its all old gear I have. Its a bit catch 22 at first as you need the stuff to make other stuff to fix stuff  , not to mention making tooling , jigs etc etc etc
There seems to be a few Geordies here so felt I had to keep the numbers going in the right direction  :D

 Cheers  Mick.
