New Guy From Oregon
« on: July 28, 2012, 02:05:11 PM »
Just found this forum while looking for some gear cutting solutions.  So I registered.  I design and manufacture motorcycle and Auto parts.  Always coming up with new stuff to make for my own use too, as well as the ever present thought that " I can make that myself" rather than buy it.
Current project is a 2 Seater Mini-buggy powered by an 1200 Yamaha Venture motor.  Thus the need to design a reverser gear box.  Which leads to making gears.
I may not post much, but always looking for ideas to do just about anything.

Well we would love to see some pics of your progress if you can manage it, we love pics here  :worthless:  :)

Still drilling holes... Sometimes, in the right place!

Still modifying bits of metal... Occasionally, making an improvement!

:bang:  OK... OK...  I promise to post pics once I make some progress.  I'm retrofitting one of my Mills now, so might be a bit until I get to cut some metal for the buggy.
