I can say that I never really got thru this completely, as it is more geared to expensive equipment, and casting more that a couple parts at a time with the spin casting.
The sections on mold making and silicone rubber molds, along with the alloys used. and following through his steps for some of the centrifugal casting one ofs was worth the cost.
The descriptions of the various other casting methods involving spinning. the chapters on inserting metal inside the molds could be of use along with the cost analysis of molding, casting, polishing, and chrome plating of a car door handle was interesting.
Again it is geared toward some body that wants to make more than a few of each items.
