Variable yoke?
« on: December 17, 2012, 08:20:31 AM »
Hi folks,

Does anybody know of a yoke mechanism which allows the operator to vary the stroke of the yoke whilst it's in use? I've been trying to concoct one myself without too much joy.

I came up with a solution involving driving a tapered wedge axially into the yoke which pushed the pin outwards, but for various reasons I don't like it and hope something simpler has already been invented!

Cheers,
Rich

Rich,

This rang a bell and I just did a quick search on here and found this thread which has a number of ideas - don't know if any of them will help.
