Here is another one for the rather do it myself. He goes through the information to build your self an electric furnace so it will, work and not kill yourself or somebody else.

    * Design Concept
    * Basic Calculations
    * The Basic Melting Furnace
    * Design Alterations
    * Handling Hot stuff


He goes through each section of the design and options separately covering most things you can think of and then combines them into a workable item.

The math he holds your hand all the way through, If your like me and have a higher math deficiency. He covers it all and all the electrical calculations, and then applies them to the project.

Then moving on to the building of the forms and picking the refractory material, and the building of the unit setting the lining and its limitations.

He moves on to other type furnaces, square ones and kilns. And then to handling the hot stuff,and some thoughts on tongs for the furnace that was built.
