Remember the Light
« on: February 27, 2009, 08:52:56 PM »
Right, it's almost 2am here and time I trundled off up the wooden hill..

Can someone turn the light out when you've finished?

Ta,  :ddb:

It's late afternoon here now so I'll turn the light off for you. Sorry I didn't get to it sooner.

Cheers

Not as green as I would like but I was there as soon as I could (it was a long swim..) to turn it off. Boy, I bet some of the blokes closer are going to have some dandy excuses why they didn't turn it off even though they live on that same small island.

cheers

What else is upside down or is right side up?

Do you walk on your ceilings?

Inquiring minds want to know.

...and time I trundled off up the wooden hill...

Care to translate that for us ignerint 'mericans?

I assume it means going to bed, or similar.  In grade school, one of my friends calld his bed a slab.  He'd say, "I'm gonna lay on my slab".

Switch UP to turn it off in countries of the faded Empire, except Canada?

Traffic drives on left side of the road and driver sits on the right (which makes it very hard to drive American cars)****

We probably could if we wanted to!

**** Other problems driving American cars:
Hard to reach steering wheel from drivers seat.
Wipers start when approaching a turn.

Also in our antipodean empire, all swarf falls up to the ceiling, so you don't have to sweep up the floor and the machines stay really clean.

But it must be cleaned up down when your head is starting to hit swarf.
