Hello from Norway
« on: March 11, 2013, 01:20:44 PM »
After finding your site and lurking around here some time I will introduce my self. My name is Erik and I like to play with stuff and find out how it works.  So after I decided to buy a bigger lathe than the mini I had for some time, and I bought a mill/drilling machine. The new goal is to learn more about machining tings and maybe repair tings that there are a problem getting parts for.

Now I Converting a room at the basefloor to my new Hobby room. There is a lot of knowledge here at the forum I will use and maybe I can give something back when my hobby room is up and running. There is a lot of ideas I will copy from here and adapt to my lathe, but I have nothing to show you so far.
Nothing is impossible, it just take more time to figure out.

Hi Erik, and welcome  .

How about pictures of your lathe and mill/drill? We all like pictures of machines on here.

I've cut the end off it twice, but it's still too short

Thank you for the welcome and I hope I managed to attach a pic of the lathe. At the moment I don't have any pics of the drill/mill.

Yes I've been a Pistols fan since about 79/80 so I use that name on forums
