Here's a sample output from my DIVHEADT program (available free on my webpage).  If you don't have the indicated hole plates, the data file can be edited to reflect the plates you have available.

If you don't know which plates you need, my DPLATES program (contained in the DIVHEAD archive) can calculate that for you, e.g....

REQUIRED DIVIDING HEAD HOLE PLATES

DH worm gear ratio [40] ? 30
Maximum number of divisions needed [50] ?

Hole plates required for all divisions up to 50
5,6,9,13,14,16,17,19,22,23,29,31,37,41,43,47,49,

Turns & holes/plate for dividing head with worm gear ratio = 30:1

Available hole plates =
16, 17, 19, 20, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 33, 35, 37, 39, 41, 43, 45, 47, 49,

Great to have you here -- and thank you for introducing yourself MrChips! Definitely looking forward to seeing your dividing head project.

Marv, those are two really nice little programs, and will come in handy when I make plates for my own dividing head.
I love it when a Plan B comes together!
