New from Cheshire, UK
« on: August 09, 2013, 01:53:59 PM »
Hi everyone,
I have been an avid reader of this forum for several years but I have never bothered to actually join before. I am prompted to join because I wish to add my condolences following the death of my friend Andy Franks, may he rest in peace.
I have an X1 minimill and a 7x 12 minilathe. Andy inspired me to develop my own  website and he read and commented on every page that I posted. Many of you may know my website http://mikesworkshop.weebly.com/index.html since Andy had mentioned it several times especially regarding the swing up toolholder and rotary broaching.
I look forward to taking an active role on this website.
Mike

Welcome to MadModder Mike. Andy pointed me in the direction of your website more than once - obviously (and rightly) a fan of your work.

Look forward to seeing more of it here :)
Cheers!
Ade.

Hi Mike and welcome,

I have only been a member here for six months but as Andy was one of the nearest forum members to me I always hoped to meet him sometime. Such a shame. Your contributions will be welcome. I've read quite a lot of your web site as I too have a mini-lathe and am keen to learn.

Hi Mike,

Welcome to the collective :borg:

I have gone to your site several times. In fact, it helped me make the decision to order the RealBull spindle for my 7x10 ( those curious, Mike's post is HERE.)

I look forward to you being here.

Eric
