Hi JD and All, Looking at the above I would like to add my choice of Photo Viewer / Resizer if anyone is interested. It is Irfan View (freeware) and can be downloded here,
http://www.irfanview.com/ . Easy to use, can read, save / resize in many formats very simply. For example, open the image you want to resize, select "image / resize" and you will be presented with a pop-up of choices. (I use the shortcut "Ctrl + R" to get there.) The first choice in the right hand side (640x480) is about right for web posting in my opinion, although some may like (800x600), the next choice down. Oh and when you save the picture it will default to a "Save As" and warn you if you try to save it over the original. Safety here and in the workshop is always a good choice.
