Some tools I have built
« on: December 15, 2013, 04:43:34 PM »
If this place is like the other forums I'm a member of then we all love photos! Here are a few of the more useful tools I have built for my shop.

A small tap guide

Targential tool holder for a QCTP

Angle plate that is held in the mill vice, very useful tool.

Radius turner

ER 32 collet chuck

One more of the collet chuck

Hi Bishop  welcome,

The tap guide?  looks like you have some kind of chuck that holds the taps?

What is it?  four jaw?

Hello Ivan

The chuck is just a small drill chuck I had lying around. I only use it for small taps and so far have had no issue with the tap spinning in the chuck.

Shawn, Look at this thread.    http://madmodder.net/index.php/topic,2289.0.html

Some of  the last of the pictures shows how I went about modifying a standard tap wrench to attach to a longer shaft.

Thanks guys, Joe that looks like a great idea. I might just have to borrow that one for a future project, thanks for posting it.
