Looks like you have dropped on your feet again Bob,  always seems to be some bargains your way. I'm sure the DTI wont take you long to sort. Well done.

Not car boot, but I was passing a skip and found this old leg - vice.

The screw is going to need replacing, but it will do nicely bolted to my outside bench.

Dave.

still can't post pictures but got a "treat" today- gas bottle holder -just right for CO2 cylinders with wheels - mine for 5. Also 10"gilbow tinsnips for 1 and a nice rachet ( think its a Stanley) screw driver for 1.
Then treated myself to a rhubarb plant for 2.50, a good haul and investment for the future.

Go to 'Project Logs' and Bob's thread on DTI repairs.
At the end of the thread, Andrew told me how to attach photos - his instructions worked for me!!   :mmr:   :nrocks:

Bob,
What you using for cleaning fluid? That li'l chuck has come up well...

I could do with some of the cleaning fluid for some Jacobs chucks that are a bit rusty looking...

If you are on a Windows platform, just open the picture using 'Paint' then using the 'resize' feature resize to 640x480 pixels and save with a suitable name - dead easy

Howsitwork,

Try downloading Irfanview, a free photo viewer that has an easy to use resize function or change format if you want. I'm biased as this is my favourite photo viewer. Oh, and if you want there are addons to apply filters and fancy effects in a separate download.
