Hi everyone
« on: May 16, 2014, 08:44:02 PM »
I found this website by accident and think it's absolutely amazing. I'm in love with tools, machines, fixing or modifying just about anything. I went to school to be a machinist but don't work as one. I'm a hobby gunsmith and metal finishes are one of my specialty, Cerakote / Duracoat and all that.

I'm an aspiring knife maker and trying to get my shop geared in that direction.  I've recently purchased a 2x72" belt grinder, built a horizontal 2x72" grinder and modified a Brown & Sharpe No. 2 surface grinder to use 2x72" belts. I just need to get my dust collectors hooked up to the grinders and blast cabinet and I'll be finished with the shop.

I love the ideas and builds I've seen on this forum so far. I hope to learn a lot and I will be happy to help anyone I can.

Hi GPF
Welcome to MadModder, look  forward  to seeing your belt sander etc that you have built, including your extraction.

                                                                    Cheers David
