Hi there, all,
I spent some of a recent wet afternoon browsing Youtube videos and happened on 'LindasSawmillCinema'. I found it interesting and impressive.

Wow!
Think they used enough powder?
Kinda cool, but.....I might stick with wedges..

Thanks for showing that, Pete. Funny thing is, I was just about to start sawing this morning -- cut down two black birches -- 75 foot ea. They don't need splitting, of course -- probably a foot dia at trunk, max.

Hi there, Steve,
Maybe I wasn't clear but there's more on that channel than just the log splitting! The following videos showing their operations in their sawmill are amazing. The coordination and choreography would challenge a ballet company!! And they don't seem to ever stop!!!

Watched them many times! My sort of people, hard working and efficient, I love sawing/milling timber. I made a chainsaw mill some years ago similar to the Alaskan and I'm still using timber cut with it. There is something about turning a useful bit of kit(tree) into smaller bits!!
Nathan.

I watched them at the time, too Pete. They do have a lot of nice equipment.
