Title: Looking for information on multiple part fixturing - CNC
Post by: sparky961 on September 04, 2012, 11:37:47 PM
As the title says, I'm looking to learn more about setting up multiple parts for production CNC machining.  I'm talking about the physical holding, not the programming.  Are there any books or web sites that anyone can point me toward?  Maybe even some pictures/examples of fixtures that have worked for you in the past?

Thanks..

Hey Sparky...

I think I read something on CNC cook book (http://cnccookbook.com/) in his blog somewhere... I will have to look for it.

hi Sparky,

Not sure if you've already been there, but there is a dedicated workholding/fixturing section (http://www.cnczone.com/forums/work_fixtures_hold-down_solutions/) on cnczone

Read some on this THREAD (http://www.cnczone.com/forums/benchtop_machines/75333-how_crazy_idea_x2_staged-31.html) over at CNCZone. I know he talks about doing a mulit part fixture on a converted X2... You may have to dig some to find it.
