Title: Sherline quick change tool posts
Post by: PTsideshow on May 19, 2012, 05:41:02 PM
I got them at the NAMES expo, And after setting them up. I have the risers for the head and tail stock. I used them today to build the off sidewalk wheel set for a walker.

The story is in the old to new forum.

Parting tool holder
I haven't used the boring bat holder yet, but I have bought a nice 3/8" insert bar and inserts for it. Since I already have a set of the 3/8" plastool tool bits and inserts for the TMNG inserts. I have gotten the new 3/8" tool bit holders too.
I can't believe that I have waited this long these quick change tool posts are sweet!
Also finally used the steady rest that came with the lathe set.

for a minor not thinking moment SWMBO, but it worked great.
Whether you have a Sherline or other lathe. I can say that everyone should have the QCTP
