Title: Kiwi Man Cave
Post by: lockstocknbarrel on October 26, 2012, 10:46:44 PM
Hi Folks,
I had a major tidy up so I am not so embarrassed to show off my modest
"Man Cave".

I wish I had the space and the machines that some of you have.

Tool Envy aside it is amazing what can be achieved in a small 6X4 metre workshop.
The room itself is in the basement, off to one side of the car garage.
Yes that is carpet on the floor, one must have some comfort................

Please be gentle with me........
Kindest Regards
Beagles

There is another room when it gets to the same tidy stage I will post photos.
Kindest Regards

Dave

You may think of it as a modest man cave. Compared to some it may be that but I'm sure that there are a great number of members on the board that would just love to have a "Man Cave" like yours. Thanks for sharing the photos with us. Have fun making chips so you can get it messed up again.

Cheers

Hi Dek,
It is a Chubb Vault lock that I drilled :dremel: open last week.
3 hours on the drill to open and hundreds of dollars of drill bits.
And yes it is my day time job not after hours activities................
I have many other serious toys for opening safes.

Hence the name "Beagles"

A very nice hideout!

My old Waterloo top box is now 21 years old and looking a little beat up after a couple of trips around the world, but still serves me well (admittedly, it is my "home box" these days)

Hi Mark,
Either my bare feet find them ..................or I use a Old Tellus Vacuum cleaner its got to be 25+ years old and they don't require a bag and work on the cyclone principle.

THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS EVERYBODY.
