Can't see it!  The message says the author has not made this video available in your country!

Hello all,

Here's another link to the same writing & drawing automaton: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwkkDfs-RKg (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwkkDfs-RKg)

In case this link wouldn't work for Canada & Oz, here are a few more links about the same stuff:

The second one seems quite simple enough (not talking about the cam business) and the third one leaves me speechless.

Happy new year!

What a brilliant automaton, certainly the best I have ever seen, unbelievable skills, especially from that period.

                              Thanks for posting
                                                                 Cheers David

Can see it now it is amazing just what levels of complexity can be accomplished! I wonder if the artisan is being replaced by a creation on a screen, the age of hold it in your hand is getting smaller!

Thank you so much for updating the link / links I spent quite some time watching these amazing machines. I doubt very much if stuff of today based on computer technology will still be working in 250 odd years. Unless, of course, some clever bod works out how to power them. Not the same as seeing a clockwork mechanism and turning the handle. Ah well, progress or evolution I  Dunno!
