Hi Y'all,

Thanks for the warm welcome from Bogstandard, CrewCab, Darren, Brass Machine. I'm just a newb. Don't have anything to contribute yet. Just reading and learning from y'all fine folks. Looking forward to the day when I have my own machines to make some chips. Followed a link from HMEM, I think. That's how I landed here.

This looks like a fine place to be...

Welcome! We were all once newbs. Even though you feel like you have nowt to contribute, I am sure you do. Whether it is comments, suggestions, ideas or questions... feel free to speak up. Tell us your ideas. Question how or why something is done.

There is no such thing as an all out newbie.

OK, so you might not know a lot about engineering, but I am sure that you about lots about other stuff that we don't, so in your circles, we are the newbies.

But above all else, even if you make crap stuff, just enjoy doing it to the best of your abilities.
