Hi Guys :wave:
Just migrated from Hmem althougth still active there. Spending most of my time refurbishing
a ML7 which has taken me away from steam engines for a while so don't have much constructive
to offer just yet, but I'll get there. If I get too irreverent just let me know. Nice to see so many
old names over here.

Welcome to the other dark corner of the web. We do have a lot of cross overs here from HMEM that are active on both boards (myself included!).

Not a bad machine built 1952 head stock bearings still fine. Very quiet machine
Things done so far new rack, new handwheel and rack pinions, bushes to suit,
to follow cone pulley assy and maybe in the future a bed grind.
Accesories so far, vertical slide, rotary table sundry tooling, plus reams of A4 paper to save lists of projects.

Welcome.

Short and sweet.

BTW, I have a three cone set that I took off an old ML2/3 that should be able to be bored out to fit yours if that is of any use.

I actually converted the lathe to a four V-belt system and ended up with 16 very useable gears. I can take piccies and measurements of it if you want, as my mate is still using the lathe in his shop.
