Title: Wireless, WOOT!

I just got my new (to me) laptop, and got the wireless network up and running.  Sitting on the new front porch in the evening, typing this.  Oh, how nice it is.  Cold brew (cheap stuff), a new toy, and no one around.  Bliss!

I hope you got some access control on your router...You dont want anyone hopping on it..

Got a WEP key set ?

Actually, it's even worse than that.  I was the one hopping on someone else's unencrypted network!

I need to get a new router, but that means wireless cards for the other computers.  I think I'll end up running a wire out to the garage instead.  I don't really need web access to use the laptop out there, as it's intended for tuning the new car computer.  I'm working towards 225 HP in a 2100 pound car; ought to be a real screamer.
