I have been given a die head to practice with and have run into a problem with the screw housing which accepts the adjusting screw. I tried a normal flat head screwdriver but it would not work and damaged the housing.
So I am imagining a tool which would do a better job but does it already exist and if so what would it be called so I can find a set?
See picture
Edit: The picture is what I imagine the tip will be like.

Hi Shipto,
Just nipped out to check my el-cheapo set of weird driver bits. Nothing like your pic but if you imagine the reverse of that, i.e. where your mid section protrudes my bit has a cut out - (think two pronged fork) various sizes in this form. Don't ask what this type is called, not a clue.
Sorry mate, not a lot of help.

Those are far too big these screws are about 1/4" if push comes to shove I will try some extractors.

We used to use some thing very like that for junction box keys ( small as you say ) many many moons ago in the days of GPO Telephones, in-fact so long ago
i can not think what they were called or the real reason for them...Will have a glass or three of wine and a think.
Lyn.
PS: and a look through my old tool kit ( exchange work i am thinking ) the days of Plessey telecoms...

Would a window key fit - the type used to unlock some double-glazing units?

Might need a spot of filing to make it fit?

It reminds me of the sort of fitting you used to get on multi purpose screwdriver bits, where you had a choice of blades to put in the handle.

Sorry rushed that reply because wife wanted to get on pc. Its a little embarassing actually but I saw the slits and assumed it was screwed in but it wasn't  it was actually held in by a hidden pin which you have to take the shank off to see. Not entirely sure why it has the slits to be honest but I am guessing they help you get the housing out once the pin is removed.
