Apparently, it's not quite ready for prime time but it does look like a nice intro set.  I wonder what it'll be going out for.

Which reminds me ... I've seen a few "for dummies" level sets for PICs and I really do need to get one.  There's so much Really Cool Stuff they can do on one itty bitty chip that we used to do with a forest of separate chips/boards back in the 6800-6500-National SC/MP (my personal favorite) days when writing tight code was a necessity.  Anyway, any thoughts for a base level beginners kit to learn how to use & program them?
