New pond
Job to turn my wood frame goldfish pond inside size W 2m x L 2m D500mm into Koi pond :clap:

problems

1/ i'm on a hill
2/ has to be 1.2m deep or more so the fish can over winter safe
3/ water is one ton per sq m  :bugeye:
4/ cost only have £200 to spend

1/ go up hill
2/ dig down 400mm come up with new timber form 400mm x 2m x 4.6m
3/ use 4x2 and steel T&G it with 6mm x 40 mm strips glue and bolt sides
4/ had some wood left over from a job at work i only had to buy half of it

what do you think took me all the long weekend and i burnt the to of me head.
it was nice to be out in the sun

We just have to give it 3-4 weeks with the gold fish in to give the filters time to build up bacteria
and i can put some Koi in

Did you know, the Irish water skiing team spent the whole of last year looking for a sloping lake.

So they could practice without having to hire a speedboat.

BT, maybe you could help them out, and make a reverse of what you have done.

A real nice job, and done on a tight budget as well.

My neighbour has a pond like that, saves us having to feed the cat occasionally.
