Post by: Meldonmech on February 14, 2014, 06:25:11 AM
 Hi Guys,

All you need is skill and a steady hand.

                                                                           Cheers David

I'm sure someone on here will be giving that a try David, looks so simple. I'll have to have a good sharpening session before i do.
Looks a nice one for Micktoon to do between projects!!! thanks for finding that one.

Thanks for posting David,
I bet that is not as easy as it looks lol, I can see either lots of swearing when you slip and strip a petal off half way down or a trip to the Accident & Emergency department  at some point to have tendons sewn up  :palm: I dont think I will even attempt one lol.

I have a feeling that lad has made a few of them before , it was an interesting lathe he had too  , I would like to know what type of wood it was.
They do look really good mind and do not use much wood either !
    Cheers Mick.

Very interesting video. I was a tad concerned seeing him working with his back to an unprotected overhead belt.  But if you can simply give the belt a tap with your hand to engage the drive perhaps it is not that powerful????  Still, his end result is amazing.
