I needed to make a left-handed threaded screw for my watch that I'm making. I could only find an appropriate tap. So I went through a experimental process of making a lot of mistakes to produce a die that works.

Me too, I thought you may have used silver steel to make the die...or is the carbon steel you selected an equivalent?
Good effort anyway.... :bow:

Cheers John, yes I probably should have mentioned it was silver steel. I have said that in previous videos, but I believe different countries may call this by other names so I just refer to it as carbon steel now.
