Title: Master Modeler (Link Repaired)
Post by: 75Plus on February 02, 2010, 11:10:04 AM
Someone sent me this link to a group of photos of model cars and buildings. The workmanship is mind boggling.

When I originally posted this thread the link did not work. This one does. At least for me!!

Enjoy

I am sitting here after I clicked on this link watching the slide show watching all these beautiful cars streaming by. The next photo up made me realize that these were models and not full size. I'm glad I didn't have a coffee or mouthful of food as I would have lost it when my jaw hit the keyboard. This is incredible. thanks for posting this link. Those old babies bring back a lot of memories.  :D  :):D :)  :D

Cheers

Fantastic work.

I don't understand how anyone has enough time to build so many vehicles and buildings at the high level of craftsmanship exhibited.

Those are indeed beautiful models. Models? At first I thought, that they were just photos of real things ::). Really an exceptionally awesome craftmanship :jaw:.

For our off shore members, the majority of the cars were from the 50's decade. Back when One (1) US Dollar would get you 4 gallons of gasoline/petrol, your glass cleaned (all of it), oil and water checked and air pressure checked/adjusted in all four tires.

At this point in time the above is as amazing as the craftsmanship we have been viewing.

Not only are these photographs incredibly realistic, the settings and flavor are straight from the 50's.  Really takes you back.
